EJ Ferencak, a Pittsburgh native, has been training and dancing since the age of eight. Growing up as a competition dancer, he earned numerous regional and national titles and developed into a well-rounded artist with training in dance, acting, and singing.

At just sixteen years old, EJ had the distinct honor of representing the United States at the IDO World Dance Championships, bringing home a bronze medal. In 2010, he was ranked 8th in the world at the IDO Hip Hop Championships. His professional credits include appearances in feature films such as Adventureland and The Dark Knight Rises. EJ has also performed with Aaron Carter at the International Children’s Games, appeared in episodes of Amazing News produced by KEI of New York, and was a finalist on Fox’s hit television show So You Think You Can Dance.

EJ continues to share his passion through teaching master classes for colleges, dance conventions, and national competitions across the country. His choreography has been featured in the hit live production Luminosity: Ignite the Night, powered by Pepsi, and he has worked with teen pop artist Spencer Kane, choreographing his national tour and appearing in multiple music videos. Specializing in tap and hip-hop, EJ’s work has gained national recognition in Dance Magazine and has been showcased in television commercials as well as NBA and WNBA halftime performances.

Now serving as the Owner and Executive Director of Dance Talent Company, EJ leads with a vision rooted in innovation, integrity, and high-energy experiences. With over two decades of industry experience, he is committed to elevating the competitive dance space by blending top-tier judging, cutting-edge production, and an atmosphere that celebrates every dancer’s moment on stage.

EJ loves traveling the country to work with dancers of all ages, continuing to inspire, educate, and share his passion for the art of dance.
