Rebecca Brettingham-Filice is the owner and artistic director of Dance Extreme Inc. in London, Ontario, Canada. Since 1997, she has led the studio, with her and her team teaching over 25,000 students. In 2023, Rebecca began Mindful Dancers (mindfuldancers.com) as a co-founder and co-owner. Building strong dancers through Mind, Body and Spirit. 

Rebecca is a certified instructor with Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America and Dance Masters of Canada. She serves on the board of directors for Dance Masters of Canada and has been a delegate for Dance Masters of America for over 12 years. Rebecca graduated from DMA’s Teacher’s Training School at Kent State University and the State University of New York in Buffalo. Many of her students have pursued professional careers in dance, theatre, television, and dance companies. She adjudicates for various dance organizations and has presented a variety of business presentations at dance conferences throughout Canada and the United States.  

In 2012, Dance Extreme performed at the Summer Olympics in London and has been invited to perform at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris. Rebecca is excited about tonight’s performance and wishes all the contestants the best of luck.

Rebecca Brettingham-Filice is the co-founder of Mindful Dancers, a program dedicated to supporting dancers, parents, and teachers through mind, body, and spirit. She is also the owner and artistic director of Dance Extreme in London, Ontario, where she has taught over 30,000 students since 1997. A certified instructor and experienced adjudicator, Rebecca presents and teaches across North America, sharing practical tools to support the growth and well-being of dancers both on and off the stage.
